In Samsung keyboard, how do I quickly switch to another keyboard?

While I'm using the Samsung keyboard, how do I quickly switch to a different keyboard?
I have, for example, Google Keyboard installed on my tablet.

When I'm using Google Keyboard, it's easy to easily switch to a different keyboard. I just have to long-press the spacebar key.

But not so in the Samsung keyboard.

I use Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8-inch.

Pull down the notification bar and click on switch keyboard
Sometimes, "Switch Keyboard" isn't in the notification center (perhaps because I've swiped it away). What do I do if I don't see it there?

Should everyone with 2 or more keyboards expect to see "Switch Keyboards" in their notification centre?

Then, how come I don't see anything to do with keyboards right now? I have the preinstalled Samsung Keyboard and Google Keyboard.

They should be both active. Even if a keyboard is installed, if it's not active in settings, the notification won't work. I just tested it on my Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (exactly same as yours in specs and software except for size), and I have Swiftkey, Samsung and Google keyboards all active. The switch keyboard notification isn't swipable

Ok, you're most probably right about the notification being unswipeable.
He is. However, another thought comes to mind… check your active keyboards in Settings > Manage apps. Make sure you don't have the "Show notification" checkbox unticked.

Hi, Mr. Lucky. Where is Manage apps? That isn't the same thing as Settings/General/Device Manager/Application Manager, is it?

Here's a screenshot from my Tab 4.

I can't see it either via the pull down or in settings/app manager even though I have show notifications checked.

Also verify that "Show notifications" is ticked for Android System in Application manager. That is the source of the input method icon in the Notification bar when you have a keyboard visible (and more than one installed). There would not normally be any reason to disable it, but it might have happened by accident.

No, two should be enough.

Are you saying that I should see a switch keyboard option at the pull down? Here's what I'm seeing.. thinking a picture is worth a 1000 words or more :)

Weird. Why is the toggles your default view. Hmm. Press the button on the upper right. The one with three lines.

Its not the default view. I selected that on purpose to show everything. The list view doesn't display all of the configs possible without scrolling.

The toggles view won't show the notifications like the keyboard select.

So one has to go into the app settings themselves and toggle the keyboard one wants as active. I was under the impression that the ability to toggle keyboard quickly showed up in the pull down.

I don't think you're understanding. Everytime a keyboard is active on screen, this should appear on the pull down:

Doesn't matter if your typing a text mesage, or in Facebook or whatever. That notification would appear as long as a keyboard is visible on screen. It shows up as a little keyboard icon in the notification bar, like here:

Pressing that would give you this:

AFAIK you need multiple keyboards active to get that option, like this:

One can also change keyboards when unlocking the device. Just touch teh keyboard symbol to the right of the password field. I noticed this 2 days ago but forgot to post this until now.
