Help Inability to add clock widgets to homescreen

On my HTC Desire X, I have encountered problems in adding widgets onto the home screen. This has occurred since I have accidentally deleted the default HTC weather clock, and any attempts to place it back were futile, even with third party widgets such as 3D Digital Weather Clock to the Sense Analog Clock Widget. I tried emptying out all the pages and tried adding the clock widget to them, but that didn't work neither. So did moving all the apps and widgets I had to internal storage.

I'm currently on ICS 4.04 with Sense 4.1, software number 1.148.707.3. A quick response would be kindly appreciated.

I did the same - try this - from home screen, swipe down from top, press settings, press personalise, press home screen (organise apps and widgets) - this lets you add widgets to the various home screens listed in the top pane
