incoming call image

anyone knows about the incoming image on android?
I got a galaxy s and when an incoming call happens and I missed it, the default image shows on screen and the screen never going off until I touch it. It cause my battery going empty.
is anybody knows about this matter, and how can I fix it?

Which specific galaxy s phone? what carrier? would suggest going to the section for your phone and seeing if anyone else is experiencing this. i've never heard of this happening
