Incoming ringer and notification not loud enough on captivate

cant hear the notification or phone ring tone unless i,m next to it.
does anybody no what setting to increase the incoming ring tone and notification volume in the service menu

I also think the volume is very low even on the highest setting. I am used to it with the I iphone being just as weak. My cousin has the kin, you can hear that phone from a mile away!

No problems here. I have the driod text sound and that's low but I can here it when it's in the other living room. Just make sure your notification as well as systme sound in all the way up.

i changed my notification to something higher pitched because the default one was to quiet
