Help Incoming texts with photos do not appear

Hello,
I have a samsung galaxy exhibit II 4G that recently started this issue and I can't find a solution and was hoping experts out there in the community might have an idea.
The problem: All incoming texts that are photos or have photos attached do not show up. I only get a message with a file size, date, and a "downloading" button. Obviously I click the button and nothing happens.
I just updated my software through the samsung kies site to the latest version hoping that would help in some way, but no change.
Any ideas?

For anyone with this same issue where picture messages do not display when sent to your phone by someone else, I finally found the solution. Here is a page from the T-mobile forum that describes resetting the APN settings. They describe how to reset the settings back to default and now all incoming picture messages are downloading and displaying correctly.
