Is there a way to improve the fingerprint recognition performance? Very undependable.

not really.....but my note 10+ works pretty well, unless i have wet fingers or if there is smudges on the screen.

I assume you have a S10e. You can create multiple fingerprints of the same finger. I prefer the reader on the key on s10e better the other phones that use the screen.

Mine gets worse in the winter when my hands get dry due to the weather. I use my face unlock most of the time now.
