Increase in "high speed" data

Looks like Cricket has increased the "high speed" data allowance by 500 MB for every plan, in effect doubling data for the lowest priced plan.

Yeah. Though I think the $60 plan had their date increased by 5 GB. That should bring in some heavy data users, even if speed is capped at 8 MB.

A couple other prepaid carriers with similar plans recently upped their data allowance, Boost Mobile is one. I'm guessing that Cricket is trying to stay competitive. :thumb:

i am currently with straight talk on 45$ 3 GB plan. does not even last me couple of weeks :( thinking of switching to cricket 60$ 10 GB plan for this. hopefully cricket uses the same att towers or better as straight talk.

Theres no "better" towers on att. Theres just att towers. Cricket uses the same towers every other service that uses att does. They are owned by att and you will get the exact same coverage as att prepaid or straight talk.
