Help increase internal storage from phone storage?

I'm not really techliterate, but is there a simple way to increase my nearly full internal storage at the expense of my nearly empty phone storage? I don't have an SD card, but I have more than 5 gigs of unused phone storage(from a total of 5.27), whereas I have a max of .89GB of internal storage with only 64 mb free.

As a follow up question, if I clear cache on a messenger app, will my conversation histories be deleted with it? (wechat)

There's no simple way to move space from one partition to another & definitely no way to do so without root.
As for clearing cache,that won't affect conversation histories.
