increasing media Volume

can anybody please advise if you can increase the volume level in the galaxy s4.
when on max i would like it louder via my bluetooth ear buds
tried several apps but these dont seem to make any difference


thanks in advance for any help
 
silly thought..

but i'm assuming you've turned the volume up on your bluetooth earbuds
(and they're fitted correctly)
 
I have the same issue. I know that I am hard of hearing but I really struggle to hear people on the phone. I have a good quality headset (Plantronics Voyager, I believe) and it is turned to max. I went thru all the ear pieces that came with it to find the right fit. All available settings on both my phones are turned to max as well. Am I just doomed to repeat "WHAT?" for the remainder of my trip on this big blue marble?
 
Try enabling developer options by going to settings>about and tapping the build number 7 times.

There's a setting in there called "disable absolute volume" related to Bluetooth devices. I'm not 100% sure it will help but might be worth trying.
