Incredible 2 Inductive charging?

I know inductive charging is possible with the battery cover:

But does any one know if something like this:
Amazon.com: Energizer Qi-Enabled 3 Position Inductive Charger (Black): Health & Personal Care

Would work? Is the Incredible 2 "Qi compatable?" I have only found one article that briefly mentions that it is.

I think there is another thread here that recommends the official Verizon inductive charger because the phone's antenna is in the battery cover.

I think the question is whether or not you can use the VZW inductive cover with a different inductive charger.
