Yesterday afternoon out of nowhere my text messages stopped saying the name of the person who was sending me the text. Now all I get is the photo of the person and their phone number. I also cannot hit the phone button to get my recently contacted list to make a call or dial out. And the ring tones I have assigned to certain people do not work, and they all ring with my default tone. Do I need to visit my Verizon store to get these issues fixed or is it something I can maybe do. I have taken the battery out, and tried to restart the phone, and I tried *228 and none of that worked.
