I was a longtime Droid user with the Incredible then the Incredible 2, but then swithched to Iphone 4S after getting tired of dealing with phone crashes, icons not loading and having to be trashed and then replaced on screens, and mostly very poor call quality and getting tired of "what" all the time when I was trying to listen to someone on the other end of the line.
So I switched to the 4S and loved the call quality and build quality of the phone, but even with jailbreaking and massive customization I miss these things in order lol:
1. Swype or Swiftkey. Loved both
2. Missed call or message indicator (custom colored led flashes)
3. Ability to throw a new battery in and keep going without being tied to a cord.
So.... I am wanting to come back to droid but have not kept up on what's available and what is the leading handset in Droidville. I see a lot of advertisement for the Galaxy S3. Is that what's recommended or is there something on the immediate horizon that is suppose to be the bomb? I am not eligible to upgrade till early December, but will be making the switch then. Just can't handle texting on this 4S anymore, it sucks lol.
