Help incredible s contact list question

Hi everyone,
I bought a HTC Incredible S about a week ago. The issue I have is my contact list. I installed Facebook and said "don't sync". Unfortunately, all my Facebook contacts are in my contact list and my whole contact list is double...each name and number is in there twice. I deleted Facebook, tried to reinstall it by quickly clicking the "don't sync" but again, the names are all there and contacts are all doubled.
Also, I have names for all the numbers in my contact list but when I person calls it only has their number.
I would like to delete everything from this phone and start again. Would anyone have a link to know how to do this? I really believe that it is the HTC Sense that is causing the problems.

the reason why you htc sync you facebook contacts into your contact list is because you have your auo sync set to on in Accounts & Sync. you will need to go into there and turn your facebook sync off... and then clear all your contacts in your list. you shouldnt have this issue again
