Hi.
I have had the Incredible S for nearly a year. When I got it, it was fine, but then it got the update to Sense 3.0 and it became generally slower. Also, it had a tendency to crash when using the music player. I don't mean that the music player force closed, I mean that HTC Sense itself crashed. When it did this, it would not respond to anything and even after removing the battery it would still have issues when re-starting and would take up to five minutes to boot up. Recently, games became literally unplayable. Even a game as simple as Temple Run would fail to respond to commands and it would constantly go into the pause menu for no reason.
Now, I am still within the 1 year warranty, but I just wanted to know if perhaps this is just a software issue on the part of HTC Sense, perhaps I could just root the phone and "flash" (not sure what that is) to get rid of HTC Sense?
Please advise on what to do.
