Incredible to Vigor, Galaxy 2, or Bionic

If you like HTC, stick with it. Thats what I'm doing. I had an original inc, loved it. Did an insurance claim and got lucky with an inc2 replacement. Love the phone. At my store we sell HTC phones 5:1 over moto and samsung. LG isn't even on the map honestly.

The TB has been fixed up pretty well from what I've seen. They did a lot of fixes in july that have made it a more solid phone. As far as the GS2, I don't know. From everything I've read, VZW is NOT getting a GS2, mostly because sammy has some other phones coming out soon (nexus anyone?) and big red didn't want to cloud the landscape too much with sammy phones.

But that Vigor looks awesome.

Right now at my store we have the revolution (LG) at BOGO 50% off. Its only been out for 2 months or so....

With the Vigor on the horizon, I would expect to see some pretty aggressive deals on the TB as well. It all depends on what you want in the phone. from my perspective, there is no reason to really have a dual core phone. Kinda like when dual cores came out for PC's, nothing really used the technology at all. That is where its at for the phones right now, not saying something wouldn't come down the pipes that would make full use of it though.

As far as the droid 3, meh. Its buggy as hell honestly. I've sold a few of em and had some pretty major issues. Thats the major drawback to being an early adopter, you get stuck with all the bugs. But my INC2 has been the most solid phone I've ever had (next to my original inc of course).

the Bionic, well I'll find out more about it today, as my store should be receiving one later on in the day today. So after I play with it a little I'll post back about it. I hope the motoblur BS is taken off so its not as buggy as the d3, but we shall see.

I agree. The Vigor is suppose to replace the TB so there should be some good closeout deals on it soon as they will want to clear inventory.

I came from the Incredible, to the Thunderbolt which gave me quite a few problems at the end, and now on the Incredible 2 which to me is night and day compared to the Tbolt (not in an LTE area).

I have an upgrade available and was torn between the Vigor and Prime. My big reservation with the Prime is it's made from Samsung. I tried out the Fascinate and the Charge in the store and they seemed to lag more than the HTC phones. Maybe that was due to Touchwiz, which won't be on the Prime, but the other thing is I like Sense and HTC's styling.

My Inc1 is amoled, but I actually prefer the SLCD of my Inc2. I know the Prime will at least have Super Amoled if not Super Amoled Plus, but I'm getting to the point where I like my screens more accurate in terms of color vs oversaturation.

I'll give the Prime a shot along with the Vigor, and we'll see what happens I guess.

touchwiz was/is the greatest downfall of those devices. I recently got a fascinate and with a few tweaks I'm running faster than the charge/d3 on quadrant, so its certainly a capable deivce.

hopefully verizon will play along with the 'nexus' mythos and leave the prime untouched by carrier bloat. running aosp/cyanogen roms makes android devices feel iOS levels of fast/polished. There's a really good reason samsung hired the dude.

after playing with most of the newer moto phones I'm to the point where I won't even consider anything that has a locked bootloader or isn't supported by cyanogen.
