My daughter has a Verizon Moto X and will be working in India this summer. I am trying to figure out if she can just switch to an Indian SIM card when she gets there, or does she have to be rooted? I don't think I can convince her to root it, so I am hoping just switching the card will work. I have seen several discussions about "this should work in Europe because it has a GSM radio" but haven't seen any reports of anybody actually using it in another country.
