Individual Message Tones?

Hello everyone! I am new to the Android Forums, and I currently own a Sony Xperia XZ, coming from a Samsung Galaxy S5. Recently I have tried adding individual custom message tones, but for some reason this does not seem to be available? I can do individual custom ringtones just fine, and setting a single message tone works, but trying to set a unique one for just my sister for example, seems to make it where it just applies to all contacts I have?

The S5, I could set individual ring and text tones just fine, so I am curious, is it a Sony thing or is there something I am missing?

I've not used a Sony since the Z1, but I don't recall ever being able to add individual tones.

You may be able to use a 3rd Party app like Lightflow. I found it much better at handling notifications than most of the stock apps installed on most of the phones I've owned.

Or a third party message app which does have that feature.
