Help Individualized notifications?

I have an iPhone now but I used to have a Blackberry Curve. One feature that I loved on the BB was that every event could have its own notification sound. I had different sounds for each of my email accounts, which was very handy.

Is that level of customization possible with Android and/or the HTC Hero?

It doesnt appear to come with the Hero out of the box, you can just turn email notifications on or off... but perhaps there is an app out there that can do it...
