Indulge PC Driver - Do I really have to run that nasty big executable?

MetroPCS_SCH_R910_USB_Drivers_v1.3.650.0.exe is the name of the file in order to access the device through my PC. Is this really necessary? isn't the actual driver a really small file that i can just install using windows hardware manager and the device driver file selection?

The executable provided is 18mb. Seems like alot of bloatware. Any ideas?

I don't have any bloatware from what I remember.

Try extracting the files from the .EXE, hopefully you find what you need..

It's probably a driver package that hosts drivers for all Samsung phones.
