Inexpensive Case/Protector Recommendation

Hi everybody,

I just ordered a ZTE Awe and would like to have a case by the time I start using the phone. I'm wondering if anybody has a recommendation for a cheap case that fits well. I prefer a rubberized feel to something more slick, which is hard to determine by looking around online.

Any responses are appreciated.

I bought 2 off ebay.

First was silicone and it was far too soft and would come off the phone in my pocket.

The other one was a TPU case. Those cases didn't have a dent for the camera so it wound up taking pictures inside my pocket (yeah, get some images there)... The hole that it had for headphones was too small and the USB hole didn't permit all cables to charge the phone.

Anyhow, I wound up cutting out a hole for the camera, cutting slits to better expose the USB and headphones... And, I made one mistake. The case doesn't fit quite so tightly / perfect anymore. It's good enough, although I may order another one to do it slightly better.

Hi everybody,

Thanks for your responses and input. Searching around on eBay and Amazon, it looks like the available cases are all the same case with different names. While I've had good luck with the silicone slip-on (condom-style) variety of cases in the past, it sounds like the ones for this phone are notoriously misfitting, and probably originally designed for a different phone.

Thanks again.

the one I said I have is plastic hard shell it in two pieces snaps around phone then u put the ruberish cover over it fits nice on all the connections for me

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks again for all of the suggestions. I found a hard shell case on Amazon for $5.00, which works out well since I had a $5.00 gift card through Bing Rewards. Thanks again for the input.
