infected phone

Hello. I need help about cleaning my phone. I have weird software installed without my approval, such as Special recorder, widget, holalauncher, zoe, phone (a blue icon beside the original one), com.android.systemUI, com.android.phonee.toolx, com.android.keyguard etc.. (with a lot of apps starting with com.android). Lot of apps get installed everytime I'm connected to internet. I'm uninstalling them everytime and they come back. I've used 360, kaspersky, avast etc... they detect malicious software but they can't do a thing to clean. So, tired of all this, I've applied factory reset and i find all again after the reset. I need serious help as soon as possible. thank you (HTC One M8 if this helps)

Questions-
-Under settings/security do you have "unknown sources" checked, if so uncheck it.
-Are you rooted?

This may be a result of a bad app that you recently installed either through unknown sources (more likely) or something that slipped in through the play store. You can reboot your phone into safe mode and uninstall all the apps ENTER SAFE MODE once all apps are removed and you have unchecked unknown sources let us know how it works.

I always recommend reading the permissions of any app before it is installed. Especially free apps!

hi, thanks for the headsup about the unknown sources. this is always unchecked, tho my phone has some wierdnesses such as, the screen is not locking up when I'm on the phone so when I finish my call, I see that I've turned up bluetooth on or entered in setting etc.. double tap to wake the phone doesn't working either, I always have to use the power button to wake the phone. Most wierd, I don't have the same power menu as I see in m8 videos, I can't find fastboot anywhere on the phone. So I can't get into safe mode neither.
I don't know what is to be rooted. I'm actually downloading HTC sync manager and and android sdk, to unlock the phone, as I saw in one video for hard reset. Any suggestions? thanks in advance

I'm not entirely sure your phone is "infected." Some of the things you listed, the "com.android" apps you see, are Android system apps. Zoe is an HTC app that creates animated photo collages. I'm not familiar with some of the other apps listed, but you could probably do a web search to find out more about them. Is it possible they're just carrier-specific bloatware apps? How long have you had the phone? Did you buy it new? What carrier are you on?

i'll enable zoe since it'a known app, thx for the info. i've searched on web for others, they are mostly malwares, security apps detect them as well. yes i've got the phone few months ago from a friend, but i haven't had these auto installed programs, and malware detections earlier. something happened in past 10 days. I'm positive that's not about the carrier, since I've checked with ppl using the same carrier and they don't have such issues. btw, I'm in Algeria for sometime, never experienced such problem. I'm trying only to get back to out-of-box state of the phone and start over lol.
