Infinite loop of trying to activate phone

Other than a factory reset how do I get my phone to stop trying to activate (circled checkmark in upper left-hand corner of notification bar). I got this phone on last Friday, April 11th. By all intents and purposes it is activated because over the weekend the circled checkmark disappeared. Then yesterday I restarted my phone and it automatically went right back into trying to activate.

Please help, thank you.
 
Do the battery trick. Had the same thing happen to mine. Then I powered the phone off and removed the battery for a minute. When I powered it back up it finished the cycle and fully activated. No clue why it works.
 
Much to my chagrin I performed a Factory Reset on my phone last night in the hopes that the Activation cycle would finally finish. To my dismay it did not.

I took my phone to a Sprint Repair center last night. I found out that this activation issue is not repairable and that my phone has to be swapped out for a new one. I have to bring it back to the same Best Buy I bought the phone at and they'll replace it for me. What a pain in the butt. Here's hoping that once I get the replacement phone that I don't encounter any further problems.
