[INFO] Tether SGT 10.1 to Phone via Bluetooth

I followed the above directions and I can confirm that the SGT 10.1 will tether via bluetooth to the Droid 3. Thanks to all of you on this forum!!

I'm having the same issue and mine is a stock 16GB Wifi Only. I get no profiles listed below and on both the DX and tab I see paired but not connected.

Some things that may or may not make a difference in my case:
DX is running beta Cyanogen
SGT does not have an unlocked bootloader

I have sadness that I can't get this to work...:confused:
 
Seems like Tab 10.1 is working well with Motorola phones mostly. Has anyone tried Samsung or HTC android phones for bluetooth tethering?
 
I have a Bluetooth enabled laptop and a nokia E5 mobile phone. I can connect my mobile phone to my laptop via bluetooth and play songs stored in my phone. Now I would like to know how to do the other way. That is, stream via bluetooth or even wifi and play the music played in the laptop though my mobile phone. Is there any software which does this job?

If you look back a few posts I have stated that as of right now it only appears to work on the DX. I have seen someone post they got it to work on a Droid 2 Global. I have the Samsung Charge and cannot get this to work. I haven't given up, but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting very faint. :)
 
Is it possible that Vzw will disable this tethering on the DX with the bug fixes update in the coming days? I pray they don't, but would not be surprised if Big Red does.
 
anyone tried this on either Motorola Photon or Samsung Galaxy SII (Epic 4g)?
i'm looking at upgrading soon and wondering if one of these will bt tether to my tablet
 
I hope I can add some help re: tethering samsung galaxy 10.1 via droidx. After doing an update back in Nov. I thought I had lost the ability to connect via Bluetooth. T
he option had been grayed out and the check box was gone, but I was able to click where the option had been and was successful and continue to be.
As an aside, I have also been able to tether an Ipad and iPod touch as well through mydroidx.
