Welcome to the Android Forums!

Last I checked there were two known virus's for Android, both Trojans. In my opinion, an Anti-virus might be necessary at some point but not just yet.

welcome to the forums glad to have you here. I see that it will be coming in the near future because of the mobile internet getting bigger and bigger but Im with Martimus I really dont see that it is necessary right now. Just remember when downloading to actually read what it says..
