I just purchased a Samsung Infuse this past week and also a BlueAnt "True Handsfree Voice Controll Car Speaker Phone". However...they don't seem to work toegther. Per my AT&T sales person we downloaded Vlingo to help them talk to each other. As of right now BlueAnt will start Vlingo and then I have to press several buttons to make a call (not handsfree). Any idea, I called Samsung and BlueAnt and both stated they were not sure if the Infuse and BlueAnt work together. However, they are listed on both websites as working together and being sold together. Should I try something other than Vlingo??? What should I try??? This is my first Android phone and I am lost.

My end goal is to be able to talk hands free, make calls, and accept calls hands free.

I am using a BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth headset and Vlingo on my Samsung Infuse. When driving, I put Vlingo in the "InCar" mode and, other than having to give a quick touch to the "Tap & Speak" bar when I want to make a call, I just use voice commands. When there's an incoming call, it asks me if I want to answer or ignore, and I just tell it what I want to do.

I was a bit frustrated when I first installed Vlingo because I couldn't seem to find the widget I kept hearing about, and some of the features didn't seem to be working quite right. Also, when I changed the default setting for voice recognition to Vlingo, the setting wouldn't stick, and would revert right back when I rebooted the phone. Eventually, after some searching, I discovered that my problems were due to Vlingo having installed itself on the SD card instead of on the phone. I moved Vlingo from the SD card to the phone, and I was immediately able to get the widget and make Vlingo the default app for voice recognition.

Everything is working just fine now.
