infuse or atrix

I would say go for the Atrix since it just received it's Gingerbread update and is much improved. The power of its dual-core processor is really shown now.

Atrix:
Pros - qHD display; fingerprint scanner for easy unlock; Gingerbread; new build of Motorola's Applications Platform which I love; large battery should ensure fairly decent battery life

Cons - 5 MP camera; smaller 4 inch display; PenTile display is known to be pixelated

Infuse:
Pros - Large 4.5 inch display; Super AMOLED Plus display (BEAUTIFUL); 8 MP camera; THIN

Cons - Single-core processor is inferior to the Atrix's dual-core processor; TouchWiz (depending on your personal preference); Android 2.2; 1750 mah battery is smaller than the Atrix's battery and it has a large bright screen so battery life probably isn't the best

Now with the Gingerbread and Ninja Blur update, I would definitely recommend the Atrix over the Infuse. That is unless you must have the big screen of the Infuse and prefer reading the fonts on the Infuse.

Atrix: (540x940) Resolution
Proud owner of an Atrix myself. What sold me was the Qhd Display (540X940) much higher than standard. What sold me again is its only 4" I wanted it semi small.... anything over 4 is just to big in my opinion. What sold me again is Dual Processor and 1 gig ram. So display, Size, CPU, Ram, 16gb internal storage is nice too. Not to mention the 1930Mh battery. Im no cell geek.. but thats a rather large battery. Only bad thing i can say about the atrix is Moto Blur. Its slower than the HTC sence line. But i mean really... ya cant wait a half a second more?

Infuse: (480x800) Resolution
4.5 Inch.. to big. Atrix has higher resolution ... Infuse has 8mp camera i think... Atrix only 5. But i mean.. you wanna take pics better than 5mb... better off getting a camera. What sold me was.. Smaller package.. but twice the power. And people always complain about the battery....With Atrix... not as many do. Donno if Infuse has a Mini HDMI port.. but Atrix does... Its nice to be able to show videos and pics on a nice LCD flat screen in HD. I heard somewhere that future updates might be able to record 1080P on atrix. Just a rumor. Happy shopping. Trust me you wont be sorry with the atrix

Ohh and Gingerbread update was much needed... made the phone more powerfull and fixed a few issues I had.. but also created a couple. Nothing to bad.

I upgraded my wife's(mostly useless) Iphone 3g to an Atrix a couple of weeks ago and it's an awesome phone! Super speedy and smooth. This was our first Android phone and I'm highly impressed with the device. While we were buying that phone at the ATT store a guy next to me bought the Infuse and had them put an Otterbox Defender case on it. I'm sure it's a nice phone but with the case installed it was about the size of a brick. It looked like it would be pretty inconvenient to carry around.

By the way, after getting used to the difference in setup between the Atrix and an Iphone, my wife says she'll never go back to the Iphone. She really likes all the ways she can customize the Atrix and she especially likes the fingerprint scanner to unlock.
