Input languages

It is Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7275R phone and is a Samsung keyboard.
I'm not that familiar with that device but perhaps it's similar to my s3.
Go to menu /settings /input and language /Samsung keyboard and click on the gear icon for settings.
There should be an option to change the language

There must be, we have 3 Samsungs in my house and we all message in Spanish and English.

Yeh you got a Samsung phone and Samsung puts their own keyboard in place of the usual Google one, and I'm pretty sure you can't just download the Google keyboard from Play. You can select many input languages with the Samsung keyboard, but you have to download the prediction dictionaries for them. You can get the AOSP keyboard from Play, which is what the Google keyboard is based on, and looks and works the same way.
