Anyone have a 32GB micro sd card in their Inspire?

I have a Kingston 32gb card, when I insert it in the phone the phone says "blank sd" or "sd unrecognized"

but when I put the card into my computer with the adapter, the computer will see and read/write to the card fine.

I put the card with adapter into out Nikon camera and the card works fine.

My 8gb card that came with the phone works in the phone with no problems.

The card is a class 4...but I dont think that would matter.

I have formatted the new sd many times and with different computers

I have had problems with kingston cards not being recoginzed in one device but then working fine in another.
I did a quick google search and found this www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/
Some people formatted their sd cards using this to get a device to recognize, maybe that will work?

Have you tried formatting it again on your pc? If that doesn't work, send it back. I use a 32gb Sandisk class 4 in my Inspire and it works great.

I have tried to format in on my computer, which is running windows 7.
I also tried it on my wifes computer which has Vista.

It doenst wanna format on either one, but I can read and write on both computers if i use the adapter.

I dont know how the adapter and actual micro sc card work, but it only works if the micro sd is in the adapter

I have a 32gb card in mine (SanDisk). It never gave me problems, until one random day. The phone kept alerting that there was a card read error and while I could access the contents, it was read-only. I inserted the card into my laptop via an adapter and ran a disk check, and it corrected some errors. From that point, the phone no longer had the read errors. Do this (below):

1.Insert the MicroSD into a computer (via an adapter).

2. Go to "My Computer"

3. Right click on the SD card

4. Click properties

5. Click tools (along the top)

6. Select error checking, disk check, or whatever it is (and click "check now")

7. Select "automatically fix file system errors", then hit start

I'm not sure if this will help or not, since you said you've completely wiped the card several times, but it's definitely worth a shot. Report back.

I believe the Inspire 4G is just picky on which class cards you can use with it. I have a File mate class 10 Micro sd card that works fine on my Nexus One, but my Inspire 4G will not recognize it . I am just thinking of getting a Sandisk class 4 32Gig Micro sd card :p.
Update: as I suspected for some reason the phone only likes Class 4 microSd cards, I got a Patriot 32Gig Class 4 card and it works just fine on my Inspire 4G.
