Instagram - Doesn't let me Edit Images

Need help with an Instagram application on the Android device.

The installation of the Instagram application went fine. The application lets you to log in and lets you to browse, but only thing it doesn't let me do is, its doesn't let me edit any pictures, it can be either freshly clicked snap or a saved picture within phone. It just flashes with a white screen and then brings me back to the Camera screen.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the application and have restarted the phone many times - nothing worked out.

From couple of online forums, found that it could be an issue with the camera configuration on the phone, but I have seen the application working fine on another same device.

Instagram page says that it needs Open GL 2.0 to work on any Android device, and A21 does support OpenGL 2.0.

I read somewhere that if I have Clean Master application installed it won't let me edit the pictures, I have removed the and re-installed Instagram, that din't work either.

And now I am stuck...:confused:
 
Just another update - I tried installing Instagrid, which is the sister app of Instagram for Tablets to test how it would respond.

The application runs smooth and clean but Same issue continues as in Instagram. It doesn't let me Edit images. :(

Since, the device is well under warranty, I don't want to try out rooting and things right away to void warranty.

Need help !!!
 
Correct forum. The only issue is probably no one knows why. I researched your model and nothing tells me anything as to why Instagram should not work for you.
