I have the SGS2 on boost running jelly bean. I am rooted, but on the stock rom.
I can watch videos on instagram with no issue, but if i try to record a video using the rear facing camera the second i let go of the record button the phone freezes and reboots. When it comes back on the volume is always turned off.
I do not think the problem stems from being rooted since my brother has the same phone as I do updated OTA to JB and is not rooted. He has the same freezing problem.
I can properly record a video on IG using the front-facing camera, but that doesnt really help me..im not a selfie person.
Anyone else having this problem and find a fix?
