Just purchased a new edge 7+ and having a few problems which I think are down to it having android 6. Would like to revert to 5.1 if possible until glitches sorted, is it possible? I have tried using search on this site using phone but everytime I press search the keyboard appears as it should but then dissappears just as quick?

The Galaxy S7 and Edge were released on Marshmallow, Android 6.0.1, and so there has never been a Lollipop, Android 5.1, firmware for these models. Have you tried wiping your phone's cache partition to see if that helps?
