Hello,

I have buy a china device. and i will install custom ROM / system
Name of Phone:
i11 pro
MYCELL

I have unlocked the boot-loader
And i have take backup of ROM/Firmware.

I use (SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Linux) to flash new system.img.
But then i do that i got stuck on boot logo, then i flash back to official ROM, so i can run the phone again.

My question is how i can install another firmware to the phone.
Any one can help me ?

Thanks for your time

Did you do a factory reset after flashing the ROM (or before, doesn't matter what order)? If you didn't then it's highly likely that something like this will happen.

Otherwise, what phone was that ROM built for? A ROM has to be built for the specific model of phone you are flashing it on, it won't work otherwise.

I have never heard of this device or the manufacturer, and know nothing about it.

Custom ROMs for obscure devices are unusual, as they generally don't have enough users for it to be worth the effort of someone to develop a ROM. So the key is to find a ROM for exactly that model - if you can't do that (and it may not exist) then unless you learn to write your own there is nothing anyone can do to help.

do you have a custom recovery? if not how are you "flashing" other custom roms? what roms are you "flashing"? custom roms are very device specific. if a custom rom is from another device, it could really screw with your phone, so you have to be careful.

Hello, yes i have a custom recovery. and sorry for the slow replay. can you give me some hint. or is it impossible to get a custom ROM.

Your post starts by saying you do not and then says that you do, so I'm utterly confused. Do you have a custom recovery or don't you?

If you do have a custom recovery, since a custom ROM for this precise model of device in the correct format (zip), copy it to the phone (or SD card), go into recovery, take a backup (aka nandroid), do a factory reset, flash the ROM, reboot. Obviously you want the ROM and backup on a device that won't be wiped when you do a reset (so SD card or OTG storage good, phone internal storage bad).

Note that that's a generic process. If the particular ROM has any special requirements for installation you must follow those (ROM development threads generally tell you if this is the case).

The real question is do you have a ROM that was built for this particular model? The implication of your post #3 is that you do not. If not then nothing else matters.

I'm afraid that doesn't tell me much about the ROM (I'm not creating an account with whoever that is in order to get more information). What type of file is it?

boot.img, build.prop_(system).txt, cache.img, keystore, lk.bin, logo.bin, metadata, MT6570_Android_scatter.txt, para, pgpt, preloader_magc6570_cweg_m.bin, protect1, protect2 recovery.img, system.img, secro.bin, md1rom.img

And i use (SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Linux) to flash it on my phone

i have a custom recovery.
if you have a custom recovery then you need to use that to flash roms. have
And i use (SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Linux) to flash it on my phone
if you have a custom recovery why are you using a sp flash tool? roms are meant to be flashed thru recovery. but like i said custom roms are very device specific. you said your phone is fake clone and i believe the custom rom you are trying to flash is for the clone and not your device. this will still not work, unless your phone has the exact same hardware as the real phone. your cellular radios, bluetooth, battery, and gps are intertwined within the custom rom. flashing the wrong custom rom will screw up your phone and it will not run properly, unless everything is exactly the same as the real phone.

......so the answer is no you can't and you probably will not be able to find a custom rom that will work for your device.
