Install Google Maps v6.14.3 on Android 4.3 (No root required)

Did you lately update your phone to Android 4.3?
Did you notice that v4.3 comes with Google Maps v7.x built in?
Do you hate Google Maps v7.x?
Did you try to rollback to v6.x but Android v4.3 didn't let you neither uninstall v7.x nor install v6.x?

Search no more, just download this package and install it. It will install v6.14.3 side by side with the built in v7.x, you can use them both or just hide v7.0 and use v6.x instead.

Click here to download Google Maps v6.14.3 that works on JB v4.3

Hope that helps

You can't sign in to this version though. When I try to Sign In, it says login failed.
Never mind... After trying to sign in, I noticed a notification in the bar, saying that this version needed permission to sign in. There were three separate notifications. Once I gave permission for each, then it signed in and synced correctly.

When you run v6.x and it tries to login your phone will show a notification in the Notification bar (I'm sure you didn't notice it) that asks you to grant Google Maps access rights to your account, just give it the access rights it demands and it will login normally.

EDIT:
hmmm, I see you figured it out and edited your post! never mind.

Thank you, this is a god send. Google is making some really bad decisions lately, maps 7 is a whole slew of examples.
