install virtual windows mobile 6.5 on android?

hi folks,
is it possible to install a virtual windows mobile on android? I don't want to replace the android OS of the mobile phone, but just use it for a specific "windows mobile only app", like, open a windows (the android apps running the virtual Win Mobile OS running my "windows mobile only app") to use this "windows mobile only app"???

thanks in advance!

I remember doing this the other way round on a HTC Diamond. It was Windows Mobile and there was a build of Android CupCake for it. It gave me a chance to have a look at Android before making the switch.

Many WM apps are designed for use with a stylus so you might struggle with a capacitive screen unless you get a capacitive stylus. I've tried them but not founf them to be all that effective.

It's hardware specific I think. So WM can run Android dual boot but to go the other way around would prove to be more difficult (lack of hardware drivers/support). Or that's what I would think... could be wrong.

It was a kind of dual boot specifically for the HTC Diamond. It was short of some of the drivers but it did give an idea of what Android would be like.

The dual boot worked by running an app which loaded Android replacing Windows in Memory. The Windows needed to be freshly restarted otherwise the Android boot process would hang.

More information here.

Actually, someone cooked up an Android for Axim x51v called 'AxDroid' which development has stopped (for obvious reasons - old hardware). It was interesting to see, but again more hardware related than anything else.
