Install_failed_invalid_apk

Hi Guys
I am new to the Android, i need some information, i am building an application for android fryo. whne i try to to install the package file on the board it is throwing an error

" 986 KB/s (4061453 bytes in 4.022s)
pkg: /data/local/tmp/<PackageName>.apk
Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK] "
