Help Installed apps are missing from Play Store 'Apps and Games' list?

Hi, I have downloaded and installed many apps, probably around 100 if you include live wallpapers, keys, etc. I'm not interested in uninstalling anything, it's only gonna keep growing lol.

Well anyway, the 'Apps and Games list' of my Play Store app is not showing all of my installed apps, which means that I'm missing out on updates.

I have verified that I am missing apps, by comparing them with the list of apps in my Application Manager (Settings>General).

Are there any workarounds to this problem?

Hmm, and the apps themselves are still in the Play Store? If you go to play.google.com using a browser can you find them, and if you log in there does it show the app as "installed"? That might give a clue as to whether the problem is with the play store account or the phone app. My guess is that if the problem is with the account then suggestions below, which are basically variants on trying to force it to sync, or clearing possible bad data from the phone and resyncing, are unlikely to help.

A few suggestions I've found include going into your accounts and sync settings and manually syncing your google/play store account, clearing cache for the play store app & Google Play Services, clearing data for the Play Store app, and removing and replacing your Google account from/on the device (the first 2 being completely risk free, don't try the last 2 unless you remember your password).

Or of course uninstalling and reinstalling the missing apps (which may not be attractive if they have data you don't want to risk losing, but should work).

Yeah like for instance, Tasker is missing from the Play Store list, but on play.google.com, the app shows up as "Installed". I have about 25-50 other apps that are missing in the same way. Right now it shows about 55 apps.

When you've got your Play Store app open with the 'My apps & games' subcategory showing (not just the 'Apps & games' menu) there should be the 'INSTALLED' tab and the 'ALL' tab next to it. The ALL listing should have everything, are you sure you're looking there and not INSTALLED?

Yeah I'm looking at the 'Installed' apps tab. The 'All' tab has at least 1,000 apps in there lol.. it's not very useful for me. I keep it full because some apps disappear from the Play Store and will sometimes remain in there.

From what you described that ALL listing is what you're looking for. If you want to weed out unnecessary items, for all the uninstalled apps there should be a little 'X' to the right of each app. Tap the X to remove that app from your list (currently installed apps won't have that X showing).

The 'All' tab is not of any use to me whatsoever. As mentioned above, that list is full on purpose.

Are you rooted and or need a Gapps flash?
no I'm on stock Lollipop

Are you using the play store app? Your ALL list is just that, everything you've ever installed will be there, that's why you need to scroll through the list and see if your installed apps are there. Not sure why your response said "didn't matter? So look thru your thousands of apps please
