Root Installed SkyRaider 3.5 and now most apps force close

Hello,

I rooted my HTC Droid Incredible with unrevoked3

I just installed SkyRaider 3.5 using ROM Manager.

The installation process seemed fine but after it completed almost all applications that I download from the Market force close.

Specifically: Titanium Backup, Dropbox, Advanced Task Killer.

Even ROM Manager which was included with SkyRaider 3.5 force closes.

Gmail works and all of the HTC Widgets work though.

Please help.

The ONLY reason I wanted to root/custom rom was to Wifi Tether and to use SetCPU so that I can adjust the CPU during Sleep to save battery life. My phone doesn't make it a full day without needing to be charged.

I would make sure you do a "Full Wipe" before flashing any rom. Hope this helps!

I recommend the full wipe as well. I was using skyraider and besides occasional force closes from the messaging app it worked really well.

When you restore using Titanium, make sure to restore only missing apps and data.

wipe and re install, this is the most defined stable ROM there is.

did you try fixing permissions in ROM Manager? this usually does the trick for me when i start having too many force closes or apps that won't install
