Root installing a different ROM

crazyduck

Lurker
so I think the best way to sort out my memory issues is to install a different Rom. I don't know what I have installed now if any but have rooted my phone. I have titanium backup installed so that saves it somewhere but I don't know where that saves though.

By default, Titanium Backup saves to your SD card. if you've just rooted, you're still running HTC Gingerbread with sense. A good ROM to use is WIldChild3, based on GB, but with sense mostly gone. It's pre-rooted, and allows overclocking. My WFS is Overclocked to 806MHz and is rock stable and faster in use than my Xperia U. WildChild 3 is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842771

with detailed installation notes/instructions.
