Installing add-on dictionaries

Hello,

I'm having a crazy time with this problem with the input dictionaries. :(

Been around Google a lot and I can't get over it.

So this is it:

In my Galaxy Nexus,

In Settings > Input Methods > Android Keyboard (Settings icon) > Input Languages

I was able to select both English and Portuguese

This made a new "Portuguese" option appear when I long-click "space" when writing a message, I can select it, but it has no words to suggest. I can and have been adding words to it as I write messages.

So in fact, I have no dictionary providing suggestions to me as I write, I only activated some sort of "Portuguese " place holder which is empty and I can progressively fill.

Most importantly, I can see that, under Settings > Input Methods > Android Keyboard (Settings icon) > Text Correction > Add-on Dictionaries

There states only only English, Check, Dutch, French, Deutsche, Italiano, Russian, and Spanish.

I bought the phone on Ebay and it's an American model I guess that's why it didn't come with Portuguese included.

I'm Portuguese and it has been a pain to add all the words myself.

My question is, how can I add Portuguese to this list of "Add-on Dictionaries" ?

I mean a proper dictionary which will make suggestions for me !

Thank you !!
