Hi i'm having issues with my phone so i want to do a factory reset and install an official firmware, my samsung came from another country and bought from a carrier Orange which makes the phone a bit modified but still official so my question is is it safe to install a normal firmware or one from another carrier on my phone ?
Ex like installing a verizon firmware on a phone which has an at&t carrier

Stock firmware is model specific. With most newer Samsung carrier branded devices with locked bootloader's and Knox Security, you can usually only flash the stock firmware that is currently on the device or a updated version.
Downgrading to a previous version is rarely possible.

If you have a international version, you probably have other options.
What is your complete model number?
