Root installing recovery AFTER already rooted/busy box METRO PCS

I have the samsung galaxy light sgh-t399n from metro pcs.

I managed to root it when I first got it with odin and a tar file that someone online supplied (forget the forum...could be this one or xda)

None of the one click root methods worked so the odin and tar file method was the only option. After installing busy box as well as xposed framework I realized I want recovery installed (twrp or cwm...idc honestly) but id like to do with in the simplest way possible. Ie If I can avoid making a nandroid backup/losing data or having to reroot/reinstall busybox etc

Is it possible?

Also anyone know if the bootloader is unlocked? Or how to verify?
 
Nvm im an.idiot. I think by using.odin and the tar I rooted and installed twrp.all at once -_- u can delete this
