Root Installing ROM error

Hey all,Ive tried installing cm11 and AOKP and both times got an error message status 7? thought I wiped right but not sure,please help lol

What recovery u using phen just realised an up dated cwm and twrp make sure u have one of those and do factory reset then format data

Also when you say "wipe system'' that means format system..correct?

Doesnt matter.
TWRP has always been more stable in my own opinion. CWM has been hit or miss on every device ive used it on.

also i noticed that on the first page of my CWM at the bottom it says Warning:No file_contexts

Use twrp wipe all except internal and external I find it a lot easier
