Help Installing/Updating to Android lollipop question?

Im currently using the older version, Android 2.1 eclair which is useless, i need help on which way to update the latest version.
 
Lollipop requires devices with at least 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. And it works best with quad core CPU or higher.

Anything lower than that should stay with Android 4.x for optimal performance.
 
Highly doubt there's any devices with android 2.x that can upgrade to lollipop and still be usable. I suggest getting a new mid range device that are below $100 these days.
