Instamapper.com down?

Anyone else using the Instamapper GPS Tracker? The instamapper.com website is down. Did they shutdown or is this just an outage?

I just started using it this weekend, so my mom and I can see where my dad is during the week. (He is a truck driver.) He likes it to have incase something bad happens, we will be able to locate him. This is the first time I was going to get to see it in action, and its down. Bummer.
 
The fact that the DNS entry is gone is not a good sign.

One can only hope that they updated the ip address in the dns record, and it's propagating the new ip around the net.

i have used in since May but never seen the site down-usually i get "service not available" when my phone is out of credit or something like that but never "server not found" as seen today.

I wonder if they are reorganizing to return as a new for-fee service under another name, after analyzing the data collected so far, or is it possibly in financial trouble? I noticed they cut back storage space from storing tracks for 3 months to 1 month only-since the Summer, which could be a sign of dwindling funds...
 
InstaMapper is seriously down. Both their DNS servers do not respond to any requests which is really bad since they are on two completely different networks. I can ping both DNS servers, but they both ignore all DNS requests. I have never seen a major outage of InstaMapper in over a year of using them. I wonder if they are stopping their free service.
 
The service of instamapper is great. I'd probably pay for it if I had to...depending on what price of course. I would think they would have warned us or had something on their webpage about it if that's what was going on. Very strange!
 
Can I use my existing equipment and software (Java script) already on the ident phones with AccuTracking. I am currently using Instamapper.
 
It appears the site is back up again. I'm able to log in, and track now.
