Instant e-mail notification

[capersHTC]

Hi,

I am relatively new to android after having a company blackberry for years.
While I realise that there are 1000's of apps out there that make an andriod more self-contained than a blackberry, the one thing I do miss is the instant (push e-mail) notification that I was used to with my BB.
Is there anyway that this can be replicated on an andriod phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, which I am very impressed with; but I do miss 'push mail' and I think I miss the real qwerty keyboard too.
Change of employer forced me to come away from BB and in many ways I am glad, but .........

Thanks.

K9 mail might be what you're after.

Not sure but I think you can get emails pushed with that app.

Yes, you can. 30 sec intervals is as fast as it will push.

K-9 is by far the best email app on Android.
