Instant Notifications Possible

A la Blackberry, is there an app or setting to get instant email and Facebook notifications? I have my setting on 5 minute intervals. Love my DINC.

I'm using Touchdown for my Exchange email, so for facebook notifications, I have a rule that moves them to a FB folder and plays a custom ringtone so it's very close to how the BB FB app works except that the email app doesn't interact with the FB app currently so things like clicking links in notification emails will actually open the web page instead of the FB app.

I found notifications in the FB app to be intermittent, more often not working.

Correct! Mine works every once in awhile... I get all excited thinking this time it may last.. Never does. Maybe eventually it will work.:p
