Root Insufficient internal storage

Lurker
Rooted phone about 3 wks ago. Looking for performance increase & get rid of insufficient storage message when updating. Have 16 GB SD card partitioned with 2 GB for use as internal & the rest as storage.

From Settings/storage:
Total Space 12.99 GB
Available space 11.42 GB
Internal Storage 1.68 GB

In manage applications it shows me 200 MB used and 1.7GB free.

I get regular notices that apps (that I have moved to SD card) failed to update saying insufficient storage.

It also seems like performance is slower than before it was rooted.

Thanks in advance, I am new to rooting the phone and followed the instructions thoroughly to avoid having a brick. Please ask for any more info I did not include.

Samsung Galaxy Prevail SPH-M820-BST
Kernel Ver 2.6.35.14-PREVL_KK-2.5
CTMod 3.75.2 Final

If you are moving your app to the SD card that is wrong, after you install an app just leave it where it is. The program will put it where it needs to be so the phone can utilize it quicker and better for performance. Move them all back to internal and that's where they need to be.

yuk not what I wanted to hear. I am in the process of moving all of the apps to internal storage. when I did the original back up it kept apps I had moved with factory ROM on the SD card.

Thanks Cwhatever for the help.

That seemed to help with both, thanks again!
