Insufficient space on device

Hi,

I have a Mimate I-Pad (for kiddies) with a Android 4.1 operating system.

Yesterday, all of a sudden, all the apps were missing. And the device started saying insufficient disk space. I then noticed the SD card is missing and purchased a new 16GB card.

Still it says "insufficient disk space" on every game I download - they are 14Mb on average.

My settings show 14.8GB and 11GB on internal space as free.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Unfortunately this sounds like some kind of software hiccup/error.

You might want to try removing the SD card and reinserting it again, otherwise you might need to perform a factory reset just to start fresh and see if this error reoccurs.
