Insufficient space on external storage ???

[Android Question]

I am using galaxy S5 on android 4.4. I have 50 gigs available on my external drive and about 2 gigs on the phone itself. I tried downloading a game and get the error message insufficient space on external drive and it cancels my download. Any reason why it would do this? I have downloaded plenty of apps and never got this before?

games and apps without tricks to the android itself install it's cache to the internal storage. they are so stupid that ignore the fact you have tons of free gigs on your card. that's why people cry about how they could put the whole app into memcard. personally, I don't use this big apps, or apps that can't use external memory as it's obviously app developer task to write logical app, not me hooking up with my device to get it work as it should.
