Help "Insufficient storage available" error

cub

Lurker
Hi,

I have 133MB of internal storage free on my phone's internal memory (out of a total of 1.15GB) and I have 5.17GB of storage free on my phone's SD card (out of a total of 14.83GB).

However I cannot update any apps on my phone because I always get the "insufficient storage available" error message despite having considerable space left.

Please tell me how to fix this!

133MB isn't much space for updates, and that's where they go until they're applied. Try moving some apps to the SD card. (Use an app like app2sd.)

Ah :(

I have moved all my apps to my storage card already some time ago. I try to update one app which is approximately 10MB but it still says insufficient storage. Surely 133MB is enough space to update a 10MB app?

Is there anything in my phone's internal storage that I can move to the SD card, which has plenty of space still available?

I would use something like Disk Usage to see if you have any apps taking up unruly space, if you can get it to install.

Hey, thanks for your reply!

Luckily I have DiskUsage installed.

I ran it after picing 'App storage' and by far the biggest blocs are 'Data' with 1190MiB and 'Applications' with 1032MiB. I have 157.8MiB free space apparently.

And you're still getting the insufficient space errors?
